Audit of EU grants

Audit of EU grants

The aim of the EU audit conducted by EXPLANO POLSKA team is minimization of the risk of appearance of any errors connected with settlement of grants. Each error can entail serious consequences, such as return of the received grant together with accrued interest and exclusion from the possibility of applying for grants in subsequent years.

The most common errors:

  • lack of separate accounting records for the project or records carried incorrectly
  • covering ineligible costs from the advance
  • overdue or incorrect settlement of the tranches of received advances
  • incorrect cash flow between project accounts and corporate accounts
  • errors in the selection of suppliers of goods, services and construction works
  • lack of anticipated indicators of the product and results or documents confirming those indicators

Who is the EU audit for?

The offer is designed primarily for companies that have the knowledge and experience to carry out grant settlement on their own. The EU audit is to confirm the correctness of the procedures established in the project, verify prepared documents by a third party and/or prepare the project for the inspection by the Implementing Bodies.

For the Clients who do not possess sufficient abilities for independent grant settlement or who plan to reduce their involvement in this area we offer a comprehensive service of settlement of projects co-financed with public funds.

More information about this service can be found under Grant settlement tab.
